Motions in the relativistic fields of charged dust

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

The general-relativistic motion of arbitrarily charged test particles is investigated, in the spherically symmetric fields of a charged, static, incoherent matter withT 00 -const. The condition for the existence of stable circular orbits is established, inside and outside the diffused source. The null geodesics are also investigated, as a limiting case.
