Summary
This paper presents a review of the essential features of wave propagation in a cold and collisional plasma in the presence of resonance layers. The analysis is based on a numerical solution of the pertinent differential equations. Therefore the results given are more general than those obtained through the usual WKB-type procedures. A detailed description is given of the particular case of propagation in the upper-hybrid resonance regime.

Il lavoro presenta una rassegna degli aspetti essenziali della propagazione di onde in un plasma freddo e collisionale, in presenza di superfici di risonanza. L’analisi è basata sulla soluzione numerica delle corrispondenti equazioni differenziali. Questi risultati, perciò, hanno una validità maggiore di quelli ottenuti con le usuali tecniche di tipo WKB. Viene trattato, in dettaglio, il caso particolare di propagazione in regime di risonanza ibrida superiore.

В этой работе предлагается обзор существенных особенностей распространения волны в холодной и бесстолкновительной плазме при наличии резонансных сяоев. Предложенный анализ основан на численном решении соответствующих дифференциальных уравнений. Следовательно, полученные резулятаты являются более общими, чем результаты, полученные с помощью обычной техники типа ВКБ. Приводится подробное описание частного случая распространения в режиме высшего смешанного резонанса.
