Production of γ-rays in the crab nebula pulsar

Summary

The γ-ray flux at energies above 50 MeV from NP 0532 is evaluated for a pulsar model in which the optical and X radiations are produced by the synchrotron effect. Synchrotron radiation and inverse Compton scattering are considered as production mechanisms of the γ-rays. The theoretical estimates are compared with the experimental values.

Si caloola il flusso di raggi γ di energia maggiore di SO MeV da NP 0532 usando un modello di pulsar nel quale la radiazione ottica e la radiazione X sono prodotte per effetto di sincrotrone. Si considerano come meccanismi di produzione dei raggi γ la radiazione di sincrotrone e la diffusione Compton inversa. Le previsioni teoriche si confrontano con i valori sperimentali.

Вычисляется поток у-лучей при энергиях около 50 МэВ из КР 0532, используя модель пульсара, в которой оптическое излучени е и у-излучение рождаются вследстви есинхротронного эфф екта. В качестве меха низмов рождения oГ-лучей рассматрива ются синхротронное излучение и обратное комптоновское рассе яние. Теоретические предсказания сравни ваются с эксперимен тальными значениями.
