Akiyoshi Kawaguchi (Japan) Professor of Education and Education Law. Member of the Senate of Aichi Prefectural University (APU). His main concerns are legal principles of the education system and administration, the child's rights and freedoms in school settings, teacher education, and school reform under sustainable development in the transitional countries. His recent books include:Educational reform and educational administration (1995, co-author),Education law and child's rights (1998, co-author). He has also authored journal articles, such as: Recent education law reforms and school autonomy, in theEducation law review (forthcoming).
