A representation ofSU 3SU 3 chiral algebra for baryons

Summary

We present here a mixing operatorU(Z′) for baryons, which transforms theSU 6 axial charges in a more realistic set satisfying at the same time the equations [Q α5 ,Q α5 ] =iƒαβγ Q γ, [Q +5 [Q +5 ,m 2]]=0. We consider the (5670, anyL)SU 6O 3 representations to obtain a consistent result. The octet chiral wave function comes out in good agreement with experimental data and the coupling constants between the (56,L=0) and any other representation with arbitraryL correspond exactly in a dual sense to the exchange in thet-channel of a tensor nonet and a vector octet with the couplings proposed by Cabibbo, Horwitz and Ne’eman. The explicit form of them 2-operator is given.

Si introduce un operatoreU(Z′) per i barioni tale da trasformare le cariche assiali diSU 6 in un insieme più realistico che allo stesso tempo soddisfa le equazioni [Q α5 ,Q α5 ] =iƒαβγ Q γ, [Q +5 [Q +5 ,m 2]]=0. Per ottenere un risultato coerente vengono considerate le rappresentazioni diSU 6O 3 (5670,L qualsiasi). La funzione d’onda chirale dell’ottetto risulta in buon accordo con i dati sperimentali, inoltre gli accoppiamenti tra la (56,L=0) e qualsiasi altra rappresentazione, conL arbitrario, corrisponde esattamente, in senso duale, allo scambio nel canalet di un nonetto a segnatura positiva ed un ottetto a segnatura negativa accoppiati come proposto da Cabibbo, Horwitz e Ne’eman; si dà la forma esplicita dell’operatorem 2.

Мы приводим эдесь оператор смещиванияU(Z′) для барионов, который преобраэует аксиальныеSU 6 эаряды в более реалистическую систему, удовлетворяюшую в то же время уравнениям: [Q α5 ,Q α5 ] =iƒαβγ Q γ, [Q +5 [Q +5 ,m 2]]=0. Мы рассматриваем представления (5670, проиэвольноеL) алгебрыSU 6O 3 для того, чтобы получить непротиворечивый реэультат. Киральная волновая функция октета находится в хорощем согласии с зкспериментальными данными и константы свяэи между (56,L=0) и любым другим представлением с проиэвольнымL точно соответствуют в дуальном смысле перестановке вt-канале тенэорного нонета и векторного октета со свяэями, предложенными Кабиббо, Хорвитцем и Ниманом. Приводится явная форма оператораm 2.
