Victoria Camps (Spain) Doctorate in philosophy from the University of Barcelona. She is currently Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She was a senator during the 1993–96 legislative session and has been a member of the Trilateral Commission since 1994. She is the author of several books, includingThe ethical imagination (1983),Ethics, rhetoric and politics (1988),Public virtues (1990),Paradoxes of individualism (1993),Educational values (1994) andThe malaise in public life (1996), and is the editor of theHistory of ethics, 3 vols. (1990–93). She is currently carrying out research on ethics as applied to health and education.
