Λ-Λ potential strength from hypernuclei and unitary symmetry

Summary

The Λ-Λ potential strength is estimated from the binding energy of⁴H_ΛΛ as predicted by an extension of the unitary symmetry argument to bound states of baryons. All the potentials are assumed to have Gaussian shapes and a modification of a method due to Green is used for the calculations. The values obtained are larger than those obtained by Dalitz and others from the binding energy of¹⁰Be_ΛΛ.

Si valuta l’intensità del potenziale Λ-Λ in base all’energia di legame⁴H_ΛΛ quale è predetta da un’estensione dell’argomento della simmetria unitaria agli stati legati dei barioni. Si suppone che tutti i potenziali abbiano forme gaussiane e per i calcoli si usa una modifica del metodo di Green. I valori ottenuti sono maggiori di quelli ottenuti da Dalitz ed altri dall’energia di legame del¹⁰Be_ΛΛ.
