On the production of deuterons in interactions of 24 GeV/c protons with Ag and Br nuclei

Summary

The production mechanism of deuterons in high-energy proton interactions with heavy nuclei has been investigated. The characteristics of deuterons and protons such as the frequencies of emission, the angular and momentum distributions have been given. The analysis of the experimental results suggests that at least two distinct processes are operating in the formation of deuterons of energies ∼ (40÷700) MeV.

Si sono fatte ricerche sul meccanismo di produzione di deuteroni nelle interazioni ad alta energia dei protoni con nuclei pesanti. Si sono date le caratteristiche di deuteroni e protoni quali le frequenze di emissione, le distribuzioni angolare e dell’impulso. Analizzando i risultati sperimentali si può suggerire che almeno due distinti processi operino nella formazione di deuteroni di energie ∼ (40÷700) MeV.

Исследуется механиэм рождения дейтронов при вэаимодействиях протонов высокой знергии с тяжелыми ядрами. Приводятся характеристики дейтронов и протонов, такие как частота испускания, угловое и импульсное распределения. Аналиэ зкспериментальных реэультатов предполагает, что, по крайней мере, два раэличных процесса участвуют в обраэовании дейтронов с знергиями ∼ (40÷700)МзВ.
