What a dominating ρ and weak exotics can do for ππ scattering near threshold

Summary

We show, in ππ scattering, that ϱ-dominance of theI=1 absorptive part, together with the weakness of exotic channels, allows us to deduce, without any detailed knowledge of theI=0 ππ amplitude, phenomenologically well-satisfied relationships between threshold ππ parameters. In particular, we reproduce the «universal curve» of Morgan and Shaw, the quasi-linearity of subthresholds-wave amplitudes and determine the size ofp- andd-wave amplitudes.
