Skyrmionic approach to the quark model: the value ofg A

Summary

We discuss the value ofg A in a Skyrme-type model for quarks using chiralSU 2×SU 2 symmetry for simplicity. We speculate, therefore, that constituent quarks may be represented by skyrmions.
