Consequences of a weak vector boson in radiative muon decay

Summary

Consequences of a weak vector boson, W, for radiative muon decay μ→e+ν+ν+γ are calculated, including the effects of anomalous electromagnetic properties for the W-boson. All effects are small, of order λ=m 2μ m −2w , relative to the spectrum in the absence of a W-boson. This is consistent with present experiments.

Si calcolano le conseguenze di un bosone vettoriale debole, W, sul decadimento muonico radiativo μ→e+ν+ν+γ, compresi gli effetti delle proprietà elettromagnetiche anomale del bosone W. Tutti gli effetti sono piccoli, dell’ordine λ=m 2μ m −2w , rispetto allo spettro in assenza del bosone W. Ciò è in accordo con gli attuali esperimenti.
