The attenuation length for high-energy γ-rays in the relict radiation

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

Detailed calculations of the interaction of electrons and photons with the relict radiation (inverse Compton effect and pair production process, respectively) have been made. The attenuation length for energy and intensity of the photons and electrons has thereby been established.
