Summary
We discuss various possible reasons for the violation of Adler’s neutrino sum rule with particular emphasis on the possible breaking of scaling.
Riassunto
Si discutono i vari possibili motivi della violazione della regola di somma di Adler per i neutrini. Si pone particolare enfasi sulla possibile rottura dell’invarianza di scala.

By making few assumptionsTuan and others (S. Tuan:Phys. Rev. D,7, 2092 (1973);O. Nachtman:Phys. Rev. D,7, 3340 (1973)) have concluded that the sum rule can be satisfied only with a large, although not ruled out by experiments as yet, ratio of neutrino and proton structure functions.

We note, however, that naive scale dimensions larger than 3 are not sufficient to have a violation of the sum rule. See ref. (10).

In Pantin’s paper (ref. (10)) « induced like terms » are explicitely considered whose presence does not modify i), so that the presence of nonminimal terms of « structure quarks » also do not necessarily imply aq 2-dependence in A.s.r.
