New data on the π±-meson scattering on3He and4He

Summary

Measurements of the differential cross-sections of the (π,3He) scattering at 68 MeV, of the (π+,4He) scattering at 120 MeV and of the (π,4He) scattering at 174 MeV are presented. The experiment has been carried out by means of a high-pressure self-shunted streamer chamber filled with helium and triggered by a hodoscope of scintillation counters. The elastic differential cross-sections have been measured and the results are compared with the optical-model calculations. A new estimate of thef 23He3H) coupling constant is also presented.

Sono riportati i risultati della misura della sezione d’urto differenziale di diffusione elastica (π,3He) a 68 MeV, (π+,4He) a 120 MeV e (π,4He) a 174 MeV. L’esperimento è stato fatto con una camera a streamer ad alta pressione riempita di elio e comandata da un odoscopio di contatori a scintillazione. Le sezioni d’urto differenziali misurate sono confrontate con le previsioni del modello ottico. Si presentata anche una nuova stima della costante di accoppiamentof 23He3H).

Приводятся реэультаты иэмерений дифференциальных поперечных сечений (π,3He) рассеяния при 68 МзВ, (π+,4He) рассеяния при 120 МзВ и (π,4He) рассеяния при 174 МзВ. Эксперимент проводится с испольэованием стримерной камеры при высоком давлении, эаполненной гелием и срабатываюшей под действием годоскопа сцинтилляционных счетчиков. Иэмеряются упругие дифференциальные поперечные сечения. Полученные реэультаты сравниваются с вычислениями в рамках оптической модели. Также предлагается новая оценкаf 33He3H) константы свяэи.
