Summary
The effect of including a 2π-vector meson interaction into the Chew-Low interaction with pionic re-scattering has been examined. This model shows negligible corrections on the low-energy π− s andp phase shifts for vector mesons with mass (3.5÷5.5)µ. A vector meson of mass 4µ contributes to theI=1/2 π− cross-section sufficiently (∼ 150 mb) at 650 MeV but does not reproduce its width.

Si è esaminato l’effetto dell’inclusione dell’interazione 2π-mesone vettoriale nell’interazione di Chew-Low con rescattering pionico. Questo modello presenta correzioni trascurabili sugli spostamenti di fases ep del π− di bassa energia per mesoni vettoriali di massa (3.5÷5.5)µ. Un mesone vettoriale di massa 4µ contribuisce sufficientemente (∼ 150 mb) alla sezione d’urto π−,I=1/2 a 650 MeV ma non riproduce la sua larghezza.
