Summary
A model proposed by ’t Hooft and Veltman shows that a theory of massive Yang-Mills field is possible if the hypothesis of minimal coupling is released. We derive the model by using the Slavnov transformations, without using the Higgs mechanism. We briefly discuss the zero-mass limit.
