γ 5-ambiguity in the generally covariant spin affine connection

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

An equation of Klein, by which the spin affine connection is defined through the vanishing invariant divergence of a product of two Dirac matrices, is shown to be a simple consequence of taking not the individual {ie1099-1}(x) but rather the product field {ie1099-2} as fundamental, in closer analogy with the constraint {ie1099-3}(x).
