SUSYSU(3) ⊗SU(2) ⊗U(1) axions and dark matter

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento A (1965-1970)

Summary

Recently the interest in the axion has enhanced since it is a good candidate for cold dark matter. In this paper, we present an invisible-axion model in the framework of local SUSYSU(3) ⊗SU(2) ⊗U(1). After setting theU(1)PQ symmetry-breaking scalef a to be the geometric hierarchy mass scale, a narrow mass window for the axion is obtained. This result fits the cosmological constraints quite well. Several possible ways of searching for axions are discussed too.
