Summary
We investigate to what extent the effective theory of the vector symmetry satisfies the factorization assumption in the hadronic Cabibbo-allowed two-body decays of D-mesons. Some conclusions from the factorization assumption and the vector symmetry in two-body hadronic B-decays are compared with experiment.
