Summary
Relativistic corrections have been calculated for the charge radius of the nucleon in the framework of the constituent-quark model. A numerically relevant contribution for the proton is given by the Darwin and the wave function normalization terms. As a consequence the experimental charge radius of the proton may be reproduced with a larger oscillator parametera as suggested by other issues of the model.
