Mass matrix with symmetric mixing and a new parametrization of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix

Summary

In this note we propose an exponential parametrization of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix which allows a straightforward derivation of the symmetric quark mass matrices.
