Compactification of strings onSU(N)/Z N manifold

Summary

We study the string propagating on the group manifoldSU(2)/Z 2 and calculate the amplitude of four twisted states. We also discuss compactifications of strings onSU(N)/Z N manifolds and recover theZ 3 asymmetric orbifold as a special case.
