Natural bounds on further substructures in case of excited weak bosons around 160 GeV

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

Assuming that the weak bosons are composite particles made out of spin-1/2 preons, radial exictationsn 3S1 n≥ 2 of the3S1 bound state of the Z0-boson give usM z *0 ∼ 160 GeV. Further substructures would lead naturally toM z *0 MM z *0 . Similar predictions hold also for the W-boson.
