Hidden models and logical structures in quantum theory

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

The dependence of a given logical structure and of a given probability space on a model assumed for the «system» concerned by these is brought into evidence. The performed analysis—which makes use of a well-known experiment of curpuscular interference—suggests a novel approach to questions holding a central role in the present controversies on the physical implications of quantum mechanics and on the coherence of modern physics.
