SU4 ×U1 and the origin of the cabibbo angle

Summary

We discuss the possibility that the Cabibbo scheme for leptonic and semi-leptonic weak decays arises from charged-gauge-boson mixing in aSU 4 ×U 1 theory of weak electromagnetic interactions.
