The production of hypernuclei by K of 390 MeV/c

Summary

The strangeness exchange reaction (K, π) was studied on targets of12C,16O and27Al. The experiment was performed at 390 MeV/c incident-K momentum and with the π emitted in the forward direction (0 ÷ 20)°lab. Formation of various hypernuclear states is observed, corresponding mainly to excited levels. Angular distributions in the forward direction are presented. The results are discussed in the framework of the current theoretical models proposed to describe strangeness exchange reactions and hypernuclear excited states.

Si è studiata la reazione di scambio di stranezza (K, π) su nuclei di12C,16O c27Al. L’esperimento è stato eseguito mediante K incidenti da 390 McV/c e con il π emesso in avanti (0÷20)°lab. Si è osservata la formazione di vari stati ipernucleari, corrispondenti per lo più a livelli eccitati. Si presentano le distribuzioni angolari in avanti. I risultati si discutono sulla base dei modelli teorici che sono correntemente proposti per descrivere le reazioni di scambio di stranezza e gli stati eccitati ipernucleari.

Исследуется реакция с иэменением странности (К, π) на мищенях12С,16О и27А1. Эксперимент проводится при импульсе K меэонов 390 МзВ/с и π испускаются в направлении вперед (0÷20)° вбл. Наблюдается обраэование раэличных состояний гиперядер, которые в основном соответствуют воэбужденным уровням. Приводятся урловые распределения вблиэи направления вперед. Обсуждаются полученные реэультаты в рамках сушествуюших теоретических моделей, предложенных для описания реакций с иэменением странности и воэбужденных состояний гиперядер.
