Summary
We derive the dependence of the average momenta of secondaries in the transverse and longitudinal direction on the multiplicityN. This is done with the aid of the concept of universality which was introduced in previous papers. We find an asymptotic multiplicity scaling law. To make possible a quantitative comparison with experiment at presently available energies we calculate corrections to the asymptotic results. The corrected curves agree rather well with the data.
