Experimental study of the matrix element in the K+→π+π0π0 decay

Summary

Two independent analyses of the decay mode K+→π+π0π0 (τ′ mode) are presented; the first one only concerns the π+ meson energy spectrum, while the second one is based onτ′ decays for which the kinematics is completely determined. A linear description of the matrix elementM=1+a(M K/M 2π )(2T +T +max ) is found to be satisfactory. The value found fora is −0.32±0.02.

Si presentano due analisi indipendenti del modo di decadimento K+→π+π0π0 (modoτ′); la prima concerne lo spettio d’energia del mesone π+, mentre la seconda è basata su decadimentiτ′ la cui cinematica è completamente determinata. Si trova che una descrizione lineare dell’elemento di matriceM=1+a(M K/M 2π )(2T +T +max ) è soddisfacente. Il valore dia trovato è −0.32±0.02.

Предлагаутся два неэависимых аналиэа моды распада K+→π+π0π0 (τ′ мода). В первом случае аналиэируется толяко знергетическии спектр π+ меэона, тогда как во втором случае аналиэ основан наτ′ распадах, для которых кинематика полностяу определена. Получается, что линеиное описание для матричного злементаM=1+a(M K M 2π )(2T +T +max ) является удовлетворителяным. Для величины а наидено эначение −0.32±0.02.
