Correlations in semi-inclusive cross-sections

Summary

We consider cross-sections for semi-inclusive experiments of the typea+bc(p 1)+…+c(p j)+(nj) charged + anything neutral. We define a set of correlation functions for these cross-sections. These correlation functions satisfy the natural boundary condition that, if the inclusive correlations are absent, then the semi-inclusive correlations are also absent, andvice versa. The generating functional recently introduced by various authors is expressed in terms of semi-inclusive correlation functions. The set of semi-inclusive cross-sections is expressed in terms of inclusive cross-sections.

Si considerano le sezioni d’urto per esperimenti semi-inclusivi del tipoa+bc(p 1)+…+c(p j)+(nj) carichi + qualsiasi cosa neutra. Si definisce un insieme di funzioni di correlazione per queste sezioni d’urto. Queste funzioni di correlazione soddisfano la naturale condizione al contorno che, se sono assenti le correlazioni inclusive, allora sono anche assenti le correlazioni semi-inclusive, e viceversa. Si esprime il funzionale generatore introdotto recentemente da vari autori in termini di funzioni di correlazione semi-inclusive. Si esprime l’insieme di sezioni d’urto semi-inclusive in termini delle sezioni d’urto inclusive.

Мы рассматриваем поперечные сечения для полувключаюших зкспериментов типаa+bc(p 1)+ … +c(p j)+(nj) эаряженных+несколько нейтральных. Мы определяем систему корреляционных функций для таких поперечных сечений. Эти корреляционные функции удовлетворяют естественному граничному условию, если включаюшие корреляции отсутствуют, то также отсутствуют полувключаюшие корреляции, и наоборот. Обраэуюший функционал, недавно введенный раэличными авторами, выражается череэ полувключаюшие корреляционные функции. Система полувключаюших поперечных сечений выражается череэ включаюшие поперечные сечения.
