Summary
A numerical analysis based on balance equations for the relevant parameters of the tokamak plasma, that is, the electron and neutral densities, and the electron and ion temperatures, is made for studying the phase of launch of the Ohmic current in the preionization plasma already produced by the microwave power. The case of Ohmic heating, assisted during an initial interval of time by a pulse of RF power at the electron cyclotron frequency, is considered in detail for the case of the ISX-B tokamak, and the positive effects of the RF assistance are assessed.

Un'analisi numerica basata su un insieme di equazioni di bilancio per i parametri piú significativi del plasma di un tokamak, cioè le densità degli elettroni e dei neutri e le temperature elettroniche e ioniche, è fatta per studiare la fase di lancio della corrente ohmica nel plasma di preionizzazione, di già prodotto dalla potenza di microonde. Il caso di riscaldamento ohmico, assistito durante un intervallo iniziale di tempo da un impulso di potenza RF alla frequenza di ciclotrone elettronica, è considerato in dettaglio per il caso del tokamak ISX-B, e gli effetti positivi dell'assistenza RF sono valutati.
