Summary

A mechanism for the decay K 0 L → 2γ is proposed. The closed-loop graph involves two W1 bosons and the W0 which was recently conjectured to exist by Lee. The calculated rate involves a cut-offΛ and the masses of the bosonsm 1 andm 0. The experimental average for the branching ratio is used to obtain the relationm 0 > 0.30Λ, wherem 0 is the mass of the spin-zero W0 boson.

Si propone un meccanismo per il decadimento K 0 L → 2γ. Il grafico ad ansa chiusa coinvolge due bosoni W1 e il W0 di cui Lee ha recentemente congetturato l’esistenza. Il rapporto calcolato coinvolge un taglioΛ e le masse dei bosonim 1 em 0. Si usa la media sperimentale del rapporto di suddivisione per ottenere la relazionem 0 > 0.30Λ, in cuim 0 è la massa del bosone W0.
