Summary
Ferromagnetic-resonance experiments in a 30 μm thick single crystal have led to results which cannot be interpreted in terms of the Sparks theory for the fully unpinned-pinned magnetostatic modes. A generalization of the theory to intermediate values of the pinning parameter (0<p<1) has been worked out which seems to be in fair agreement with the experimental data.

La teoria di Sparks capace di spiegare il comportamento dei modi magnetostatici completamente unpinned/pinned è stata generalizzata a valori intermedi del parametro di pinning. La validità di tale estensione è stata verificata analizzando, mediante la risonanza ferromagnetica, la risposta a microonde di un film (cristallo singolo) di granato di ittrio e ferro, spesso 30 μm. I risultati sperimentali si mostrano in buon accordo con il modello teorico sviluppato.
