Summary
Equilibrium statistics of model Hamiltonians for 1D and 2D nonlinear drift wave equations are considered. While 1D calculations of correlation functions, lead to a Lorentz spectrum, the 2D Fourier transforms of expected 2D space correlation functions deliverk −3-dependence at largerk and a maximum atk near to zero, in agreement with recent measurements on large tokamaks.
