Summary
We examine a gauge theory with spontaneous symmetry breaking when matter fields admit only exact symmetry transformations. In this case, matter fields in the presence of a corresponding Higgs field can be described as fields on a multidimensional coordinate space parameterized by space-time coordinates and values of a Higgs field.
