A redshift magnitude relation for radiation universes

Summary

A closed formula for the relation between distance and redshift in an expanding radiation-filled universe is derived for the case of positive cosmological constant and positive space curvature. This formula is then generalized so that it is valid for all values of the cosmological constant and the three possible space curvatures. From this distance redshift formula, a generalized redshift magnitude relation is found. This latter formula is then checked by testing it with the cases expressible in terms of elementary functions.

Si deduce una formula chiuaa per la relazione fra distanza e spostamento verso il rosso in un universo in espansione riempito di radiazione per il caso in oui la costante cosmologica e la curvatura dello spazio siano positive. Si generalizza poi questa formula in modo che essa sia valida per tutti i valori della costante cosmologica e per le tre possibili curvature dello spazio. Da questa relazione fra distanze e spostamento verso il rosso si trova una relazione generalizzata fra spostamento verso il rosse e magnitudine. Si controlla poi quest’ultima formula saggiandola in casi che sono esprimibili in termini di funzioni elementari.

Из этой формулы для св язи между расстояние м и красным смещением выводится обобщенное соотноше ние для величины крас ного смещения. Затем п олученная формула проверяется посредс твом исследования ее в тех случаях, когда он а выражается через элементарные ф ункции.
