Speculations on the mathematics of a second-order temporal difference equation in quantum theory

Summary

By considering an additional second-order time difference term in the Schrödinger equation, we study the possible implications of such an additive term in the case of radiative transitions when the discreteness of time becomes manifest and time derivatives are replaced by finite differences.
