Summary

The interpretation of uncertainty in Q-mechanics as a result of Brownian motion of particles and photons in a fluctuating zero-energy field is re-examined. It is shown that stimuli originating at this fluctuating sub-Q-mechanical level can have macroscopic consequences, one of which could be a spontaneous tendency towards lower entropy in open systems. It is argued that the probabilities of formation of complex molecules would be immensely increased if such a sub-Q-mechanical effect existed.

Si riesamina l'interpretazione dell'indeterminazione nella meccanica quantica come risultato del moto browniano delle particelle e dei fotoni in un campo fluttuante con energia nulla. Si mostra che stimoli aventi origine a questo livello fluttuante subquantico possono avere conseguenze macroscopiche, una delle quali può essere la tendenza spontanea verso la diminuzione di entropia in sistemi aperti. Si deduce che le probabilità di formazione di molecole complesse risulterebbero immensamente accresciute se un tale effetto subquantomeccanico esistesse.
