Summary

The possibility of detecting diffuse sky radiation in the (250÷3000) μm range is discussed on the basis of recent measurements performed at the mountain observatory of Testa Grigia (3500 m a.s.l.) on the atmospheric emission and on the atmospheric noise. It is shown how, in many cases, the limits assigned by the residual atmospheric emission are well below the sensitivity of the available infra-red detectors; as a consequence some new experiments of background astronomy are suggested.

Sulla base di recenti misure sull'emissione e sul rumore atmosferico, fatte dall'osservatorio alpino della Testa Grigia (3500 m s.l.m.), si discute la possibilità di rivelare la radiazione del fondo diffuso nella banda (250÷3000) μm. Si mostra che, in vari casi, i limiti derivati dall'emissione atmosferica residua sono ben al di sotto della sensibilità degli attuali ricevitori di infrarosso. Si suggeriscono quindi alcuni possibili nuovi esperimenti nell'astronomia del fondo.

Обсуждается возможность детектирования диффузного излучения неба в области (250÷3000) микрон на основе недавних измерений, выполненных в горной обсерватории Теста Гриджа (3500 м), атмосферного излучения и атмосферного шума. Показывается, что пределы, определяемые остаточным атмосферным излучением, оказываются значительно ниже чувствительности имеющихся инфракрасных детекторов. В связи с этим предлагаются некоторые новые эксперименты по астрономии фона.
