Relativistic particles in interaction with a plane wave plus a parallel magnetic field: a path integral treatment

Summary

The charged particles of spin 0 and 1/2 in interaction with an electromagnetic plane wave plus a static magnetic field parallel to the direction of propagation of the electromagnetic wave are analysed in the framework of Feynman's path integrals. The Green's functions are calculated by introducing the invariant ϕ=kx as a functional constraint. In each case the spectrum is then deduced.
