Summary
A derivation is given of the capture ratesλ + andλ − in the two hyperfine states of a muonic atom. Explicit forms of the matrix elements are given for the nuclear shell model. It is shown that the transition6Li+μ−→6He+ν is very suitable for measuring the effective coupling costantsG A andG P.
