On the properties of landau curves

Summary

A derivation of several properties of Landau curves is carried out with the methods of algebraic geometry. In particular formulas have been established for the Plücker characteristics of large classes of Landau curves. A determinantal formalism by Cayley has been shown to be particularly useful in connection with the present theory.

Si ricavano, con i metodi della geometria algebrica, diverse proprietà delle curve di Landau. In particolare si ottengono formule per le caratteristiche di Plücker di ampie classi di dette curve. Si dimostra che un formalismo basato sui determinanti di Cayley è particolarmente utile in relazione alla presente teoria.
