Far-UV spectroscopy by use of synchrotron radiation

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

Synchrotron radiation as it is emitted by electron synchrotrons and by storage rings is described. Its properties are explained and the typical layout of a laboratory is shown. The types of experiments which can be performed in the VUV are listed.
