Summary

We report resonant and nonresonant Raman spectra in PbI2 single crystals. From the polarization nonresonant spectra we obtain the phonon symmetries in the 4H polytype structure. Resonance effects were studied both by the temperature broadening of the exciton peak and by varying laser length in the range (4965÷6328) Å.

Riportiamo gli spettri Raman risonanti e non risonanti in monocristalli di PbI2. Dagli spettri Raman polarizzati non risonanti, otteniamo le simmetrie dei fononi nelle strutture del politipo 4H. Sono stati studiati gli effetti di risonanza sia usando lo spostamento del picco eccitonico colla temperatura, sia variando la lunghezza d’onda del laser nell’intervallo (4965÷6328) Å.

Резюме

Приводятся резонансные и нерезонансные рамановские спектры рассеяния в монокристаллах PbI2. Из поляризованных нерезонансных спектров мы получаем симметрии фононов в 4H структуре. Исследуются резонансные эффекты, используя температурное уширение экситонного пика и изменяемую длину волны лазера в области (4965÷6328) Å.
