Theory of meson multiple production

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

8. — Conclusion

1) Fermi’s and Laudau’s theories of multiple production seem to be foreign elements in the field theory, but they can be formulated in the frame of the present field theory.

2) Landau’s theory is at present regarded as the best, however, one can obtain equally good results by a statistical treatment of the field theory with a much simpler model.
