Summary
Measurements of the dielectric constant of some aqueous solutions have been made, at a frequency of 8 MHz. After a description of the method and of the device used in the measurements, it is shown how it is possible to calculate the number of water dipoles blocked by each ion in solution, taking into account the variation of the dielectric constant.
