The three-particle scattering operator in the correlation pattern representation

Summary

It is shown that the «correlation pattern representation» permits the direct establishing of equivalence between the three-particle kinetic evolution operator obtained by means of Prigogine’s method and the corresponding expression derived by Green and Cohen. Both expressions take into account the finite duration of collisions in a strictly equivalent way.

Si mostra che la «rappresentazione degli schemi di correlazione» permette di stabilire direttamente l’equivalenza tra l’operatore cinetico di evoluzione a tre particelle ottenuto usando il metodo di Prigogine e la corrispondente espressione derivata da Green e Cohen. Entrambe le espressioni prendono in considerazione in maniera strettamente equivalente la durata finita di collisione.

Показывается, что «представление корреляционных схем» допускает прямое установление эквивалентности между трехчастичным кинетическим оператором эволюции, полученным с помощью метода Пригожина, и соответствующим выражением, выведенным Грином и Кохеном. Оба выражения учитывают в явном виде конечность времени соударений.
