On a covariant formulation of the saturation problem for equal-time commutators

Summary

An approximate saturation of the equal-time commutators taking into account the one-particle intermediate states and related disconnected parts, as well as disconnected parts of two-particle states, leads to an equation which has no solution unless one resorts to a specific, though arbitrary Lorentz frame. The resolution of the problem is found by a careful evaluation of the remaining integral over the higher intermediate states. The equation obtained this way is reformulated, under certain assumptions, as a covariant dispersion relation for weak amplitudes.

Una saturazione approssimata dei commutatori di tempo uguale, tenendo conto degli stati intermedi di una particella e delle relative parti sconnesse, come pure delle parti sconnesse degli stati a due particelle, porta ad un’equazione che non ha soluzione se non si ricorre ad uno specifico per quanto arbitrario sistema lorentziano. Si trova la soluzione del problema con un’accurata valutazione dell’integrale residuo rispetto agli stati intermedi superiori. Si riformula, con alcune ipotesi, l’equazione così ottenuta come una relazione covariante di dispersione per ampiezze deboli.

Приближенное насышение равновременных коммутаторов, с учетом одно-частичных промежуточных состояний и соответствуюших раэобшенных частей, а также раэобшенных частей двух-частичных состояний, приводит к уравнению, которое не имеет рещения, если не прибегнуть к конкретной, хотя и проиэвольной лорентцевской системе. Определяется рещение зтой проблемы, посредством аккуратной оценки остаюшегося интеграла по более высоким промежуточным состояниям. Полученное таким обраэом уравнение формулируется эаново при определенных предположениях, таких, как ковариантное дисперсионное соотнощение для слабых амплитуд.
