Radiative hyperon decays as a test of nonleptonic weak-interaction models

Summary

We discuss decays of the type B → B′ + γ with |ΔS|=1 as a means of studying the weak-mass transition. Only transitions involving neutral hyperons are sensitive to this term. We also discuss the direct-emission amplitudes in relation to models of nonleptonic weak interactions.

Si discutono i decadimenti del tipo B → B′ + γ con |ΔS|=1 come mezzi per studiare le transizioni di massa debole. Solo le transizioni che coinvolgono iperoni neutri sono sensibili a questo termine.
