Summary
The coupling of gravitation to a Maxwellian-type field is performed in higher dimensions. Firstly, we study the coupling of gravitation to a Maxwellian-type field in even-n dimensions. This field is deduced from a potential which is an ((n−2)/2)-form and has traceless energy-momentum tensor. A qualitative description of solutions of a dynamical system obtained from those equations is given. Secondly, we consider the same model, with the Maxwellian-type field, defined on an arbitraryn-dimensional manifold,n>4. A comparative analysis is done.
