OSO-G satellite instrumentation for measurements of cosmic X-rays in the energy range from 25 to 190 keV

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento B (1971-1996)

Summary

An experiment for the detection of solar and celestial X-rays in the energy range from about 20 keV to about 200 keV has been prepared for operation aboard the NASA satellite OSO-G. This paper presents details of design and assembly to meet flight specifications and scientific objectives. The instrument is presently in orbital operation.
